This album features a number of songs recorded in the late 1990's which Shad had written for other artists and recorded in Nashville with a variety of studio musicians.  Some of this material ended up reworked for the Carving Away The Clay album, but is presented here with remixes of the original sessions.
 
The album also features recordings from two live performances made while out on tour in Chiari, Italy in 1997 and Louisville, KY in 1997
