The New England brewery “dedicated to making just beer and smiles,” followed a recipe that matched not only the ales of old England, but also the type of beer commonly found in America’s Speakeasys during the late 30s and 40s.
“It’s a very approachable ale, slightly sweet with a bread-y taste,” explains Big Elm’s co-owner Bill Heaton.
