In the studio laying down horns with Tony Aiello (reeds & arrangements) and Chris Persade

I spent Monday with Paul Antonell at The Clubhouse Recording Studio

recording horns for the Galahad Blues album set to rlease in Janury '24. This is the fifth time Tony has worked on horn arrangements for one of my record and then walked into a studio to lay them down. This go around he brought the amazing Chris Persad to play trumpet by his side and the outcome is gonna blow you AWAY!

I first met Tony through my olf producer and mentor Gary Burke, who played with Tony in Joe Jackson's band. Tony came in abd played some parts on Little Brown Book and soon after on Riggley Road. He's nailed it on Songs for Isaac and Tattletale, and now is bringing the swingin' elements of the new album to a whole new level. I can't wait to share this stuff with you all.
